Our History
From humble beginnings to a leading institution
2005: Foundation
YURIKO was established as a small research institute with a focus on sustainable development and technology innovation in Kyrgyzstan.
2010: Expansion
The institute expanded its programs to include undergraduate education, offering degrees in computer science, business, and environmental studies.
2015: Graduate Programs
YURIKO launched its first graduate programs and established research centers in data science, climate change, and social innovation.
2020: International Recognition
The university gained international recognition for its research contributions and established partnerships with leading institutions worldwide.

Dr. Aibek Karimov
President
Dr. Karimov has over 25 years of experience in higher education and research. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from MIT and has published extensively in the field of artificial intelligence.
Dr. Elena Petrova
Vice President for Academic Affairs
Dr. Petrova oversees all academic programs and faculty affairs. She has a Ph.D. in Education from Stanford University and is committed to fostering academic excellence and innovation.
Dr. Nurlan Asanov
Vice President for Research
Dr. Asanov leads the university's research initiatives and partnerships. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Cambridge University and has received numerous awards for his research contributions.
